The Hollowdeck Writer’s Guild in Boulder, Colorado
The Hollowdeck Writer’s Guild in Boulder, Colorado
is an active community of multi-genre writers and artists, some of whom have
been working together for over ten years. The Guild exists to provide support
for working writers in the Boulder/ Denver area. Classes are offered in three
annual semesters; August to November, January to April, and June to July.
Most classes in the Boulder Guild are taught by Max
Regan and they include Weekly workshops on Wednesdays and Thursdays;
Writing Labs; Salons; Weekend Writer’s Retreats in Allenspark, Colorado;
one-day classes; Summer Intensives; free classes; and Museum classes that
are held in the Denver Art Museums. Weekly workshops are held at the Hollowdeck
studio in Boulder. Please contact Max for driving directions. There is a
5-person minimum and a 7-person maximum for all weekly classes.
All classes and workshops are open to writers of any ability or genre, although
students who attended a specific class in the preceding semester get first
priority in registration. We are always welcoming new students into our community,
but rosters fill quickly, so if you think you might be interested in a class,
please let us know.
Tuition varies depending on the class. Payments can be made with cash or check
made out to Hollowdeck Press LLC. We are not able to accept credit cards. Billing
statements, gift certificates and receipts are available. We are committed
to serving our students by creating clear, flexible payment plans. Students
can arrange payment plans directly with Max. Sorry, semester-long classes cannot
be pro-rated.
Please note that not every type of class is offered every
semester. See our latest
